Fiserv to open a site in New Jersey

Global FinTech Fiserv Wednesday (September 29) announcement he will open a new office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, expanding the company’s presence in the Garden State. In the process, the company will add around 2,000 jobs, mostly in technology-related positions.

The office will be one of the company’s largest sites on the east coast. Fiserv plans to partner with local universities, including Rutgers University, to create programs for their students and graduates, and provide them with opportunities to work in the new office to some extent.

The new building, at 100 Connell Drive, is expected to include 428,000 square feet of space in a single four-story building that will accommodate approximately 3,000 Fiserv employees. It will include social work areas, wellness facilities and culinary programming.

Fiserv will also seek LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for the building, “which will be a physical representation of the company’s distinctive brand experience,” according to the company’s announcement.
